Phil Mickelson literally horseshoed a putt from 25 feet to shoot a 59 at the TPC Scottsdale. I am sure we are going to see that putt literally thousands of times in the next few days. But watching it live was too heartbreaking to bear. He left a putt short on his 17th hole (#8 on the course) dead nuts short for birdie. Then hits a less than desirable wedge to roughly 25 feet from the center of the fairway on his 18th hole, but hits a great putt that went down and around and ended up back in front of the hole.
Ties his own course record and leads the tournament, but he is going to be a little disappointed in the media tent I guarantee it.
