Windy City Golf League offers individual, team and corporate leagues to Chicagoland golfers seeking a fun, affordable and competitive way to play the game they love. And the best part – You decide when, where, who & how much to play!
Schedule your matches at any course, any time, and play anyone – Play as many matches as you want!
Our members save a lot of money on golf!! We work with local courses to get great deals for members! See our Partners page for details on these local deals that include resident rates at popular park district courses, tee time access to several private country clubs, and other great savings at excellent Chicagoland courses!
Here’s how it works- we’ve made it completely flexible and fun, while also making it easier than ever to play and compete!
- Before the season starts, you’re placed in a flight of players you’ll be competitive with & who have similar availability.
- Play as many matches as you want against any opponent within your flight. You win points for each match based on how many strokes you win or lose by.
- Contact your flight members via email or phone and schedule your matches at any course, any time (We make it very easy to contact your entire flight from our website).
- After your match, come back to the website to report your scores, where we keep track of your stats and match results.
- Throughout the season, you can view your updated stats, and see yourself move up and down the leaderboards as matches are played. Be sure to upload a picture as category statistics leaders’ pictures are displayed!
- At the end of each season, WCGL hosts The Arghe Isle Cup Tournament at one of our local Partner Courses. A huge number of points are still up for grabs at the Arghe Isle Cup and we crown season champions at the end of the day!

- In addition to the Individual League, we also offer a Two-Person Team Scramble format – Perfect for you and your favorite golf buddy as you compete together against other teams.
- Bring us the right-sized group, and we can customize a flight for you, so gather a group of friends or coworkers and we’ll host your own corporate league – perfect for building camaraderie or networking!
- Past members and Arghe Isle Cup participants have walked away with prizes including bar, Golfsmith and Golf Galaxy gift cards, restaurant and golf course gift certificates, WCGL logo apparel, trophies and much more!
- Refer friends and earn rewards! Earn $10 for each friend you refer to WCGL – refer 5 friends and your next season is on us!
- The league costs $60 ($120 per team) per season and includes all of the above, including access to our great league discounts. You’re still responsible for your own green fees, but we work hard to save you big $$$$ on Chicagoland golf!!
