I think we are all aware of the fact that the tournament organizers changed the format of the tournament to make for better television.  I am all for it, why not change it up when you can put Tiger Woods with Rory McIlroy?  Tiger Woods is still a big draw, love him or hate him, you want to watch him on TV.  I personally like Tiger Woods, and figure your personal life should not be on trial with the public (insert applause or boos here…).  And who doesn’t love everyone’s Golden Green Golfer from the Emerald Isle?

Sometimes I think the PGA Tour should change things up to make the golfing public happier.  We love seeing these huge match ups (like Tiger vs Rory) and we want to see fireworks.  Give us fireworks PGA Tour.  I am excited to see if Rory can continue to amaze us with his stellar play, and I would like to see Tiger Woods ride his win from the Shell in Dubai and bang out a Sunday pairing as well.  Final Group maybe?
