I do not believe that the Americans have played this well in a Ryder Cup in the past 20 years. I personally cannot remember a Ryder Cup team that is this boisterous, excited, close, and down right well…European. The Euro team is suppose to be close not the Americans. Team USA is suppose to be comprised of a bunch of individuals that happen to be partners that week. However even ever stoic players like Tiger Woods are fired up and high fiving, and having fun (even with Colsarts playing 10 under par). When we Americans can have fun, enjoy the game, play as a team, and have home field advantage, it is a heck of a good formula…but thats all I have to say about that.
I do not want to put the mush down on Team USA so I will stop with my praise for Team USA, but good lord they look great. More to come this afternoon on my thoughts and feelings of the Ryder Cup so far.
