Rory McIlroy is the #1 player in the world, he is leading the PGA Tour Money List, leading the European Tour Money List, #1 on the FedEx Cup points list, and he won his second major just a few weeks ago, and oh by the way the last guy to be a multiple major winner at Rory’s age…Tiger Woods.  So to say that the world of golf rests solely on this young Irishmen’s shoulders is just an understatement.  McIlroy is going to be the next generation of golf, he is going to win a lot more majors, he is going to continue to dominate the game like his predecessors before him.  I think that if Rory can manage a win out of the FedEx Cup next week he is going to solidify himself as one of golf’s elite…all before the age of 24!
