To Live and Die in LA.  Rivera is one of my top courses of all time that I have not played but would give up almost anything to check out.  Northern Trust Open’s first day is packed with a star studded leader board, with everyone’s golden boy (and last weeks champion) Phil Mickelson leading the way after a solid 66 on Thursday.  There are a few others finishing up their first rounds (there was a delay because of heavy winds), but only a few are atop the leader board @ 2 under.

Second day coverage starts at noon. Can Phil take down two in a row? Only the next three days will tell.
